BLACK PEACE STONE NATION 
One of the largest and most violent street gangs in the United States that is highly structured with a single leader with an estimated 6,000-8,000 members that are African American from the Chicago metropolotan area. The gang deals with drugs such as cocaine, heroine, marijuana, and methamphetamine. Criminal activity consist of theft, burglary, carjacking, drive-by shootings, extortion, homicide, and robbery.

GANGSTER DISCIPLES 
Formed in 1960's corporate structure with a chairman. Estimated members 25,000-50,000 mostly African American males active in 110 cities in 31 states. Criminal activity assault, auto theft, homicide, money laundering.

LATIN COUNTS 
Consist of Hispanic street gangs originated Chicago in 1960's consist of 5 fractions with 400-600 members with Mexican nationals and Mexican American males. Prominent in the Great Lakes region.

LATIN DISCIPLES
Also known as the Maniac Latin Disciples and Young Latino Organization, formed in Chicago 1960's consist of 10 structured factions with 1,500-2,000 members that are Puerto Rican males. Maniac Latin Disciples are the largest Hispanic gang in the Folk Nation Alliance. The gang is most active in the Great Lakes and Southwest region of the Unites States

LATIN KINGS
Chicago gang also known as Almighty Latin King Nation, Commonly reffered to as Latin Kings has over 160 gangs with 20,000-35,000 members consist of Mexican American or Puerto Rican males. Main source of income deals with drugs such as cocaine, heroin, and marijuana. Heavily engaged with the U.S.-Mexico border.

" Gangs engage in an array of criminal activites including assault, burglary, drive-by shooting, extortion, homicide, identification fraud, money laundering, and robbery"(Gangs, p.1).
